We encourage all small business owners that are tenants or landlords in their business capacity, as well as property investors in the region, to come along to our seminar and learn about new laws governing the rental property market.

The Tenancy Services workshop on Monday 18 November will cover the new healthy homes standards 2019 as well as amendments to the Residential Tenancies Act in 2019, and what landlords and tenants need to do to comply with these changes to tenancy law. The presentation will be approximately one hour, followed by a Q&A session.

About Kiwi Business Boost

The first ever Kiwi Business Boost event, presented by business.govt.nz with support from Tenancy Services, will launch in Hawke’s Bay on 11th – 21st November 2019. Free events will be held in Wairoa, Napier, Hastings and Waipawa.

The Kiwi Business Boost brings private and public sector together to offer businesses the chance to attend one-on-one expert sessions, participate in workshops and hear from other small businesses. Partners will include New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Hawke’s Bay Business Hub, Inland Revenue, PopUp Business School and 30+ more.
