In most situations, landlords must lodge a general bond, pet bond or bond top-up payment with Tenancy Services. Find out the timeframe to lodge a bond by and how to lodge it, or when a bond does not have to be lodged. 


Landlords can use their property management software (PMS) if it is integrated with our system. They can lodge a bond, lodge a bond top-up, and arrange a bond refund.


If landlords have charged a general bond, a pet bond, or both, this needs to be lodged (deposited) with Tenancy Services. Landlords can lodge the bond online, using Bond Hub.


If a general bond has already been lodged (deposited) and a pet bond needs to be added to that tenancy, landlords can do this online, using Bond Hub.


If the landlord has increased the rent, they can ask the tenant to pay a bond top-up. It can be for a general bond or a pet bond. Landlords can lodge (deposit) the bond top-up online, using Bond Hub.
